I was visiting my Son & family in Beaumont, TX a couple years ago and my daughter in law introduced me to this incredible chili pepper!!!! Well I've been hooked since ☺️ I came home and introduced it to my grand daughter in laws. We absolutely love it. I have lived my entire life on the NC coast, not a fan of mustard OR vinegar, & definitely not spicy food! In my 2 short years in NM, I have become a chile expert (to my beach fan)! I have always ordered the Jarred hot green chilies, but once I saw they offered fresh green chilies. I ordered 25 lb. Immediately roasted them, chopped them and sealed them for freezer use. I used them to make my breakfast green chile sauce with my hot sandia chile that i roasted and freezed last year i thought it would be to hot because i normally use the big jims but the medium chile sauce came out perfect i couldnt tell the difference. all in all its very good. My only suggestion would be to put that same batch of mild, medium, and hot in 4 oz cans for a longer shelf life and you want need shipping protection also if you did not want to roast your own chile this would be easer to just open cans and make your green chile sauce etc.Ralph C · Verified

Frozen products ship on Tuesdays or Wednesdays according to the destination ZIP and service. Economy generally takes 1–3 business days by ZIP in the lower 48; Alaska and Hawaii are Overnight only.
