Green Chile Pigs in a Blanket
Ingredients
- 4 Roasted Hatch Green Chile - deseeded and cut into 32 sectionsÂ
- 2 cans of refrigerator crescent rolls
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheeseÂ
- 1 8oz package of cream cheeseÂ
- 32 little smokie sausages
- ½ TBS Hatch New Mexico Green Chile PowderÂ
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper
- Whip cream cheese, chile powder, and garlic powder togetherÂ
- Mix in 2 cups grated cheese
- Cut each crescent roll in half lengthwiseÂ
- On each half, place one slice of green chile, a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture, and a mini sausage
- Wrap the dough around the filling
- Bake at 375 for 20 minutes until golden brownÂ
